Au Cheval New York, part of Hogsalt, is seeking dedicated and experienced Full Time Line Cooks to join our team. You will cook and prepare menu items according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, maintain food quality, and meet time standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cooking experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies, ensuring proper inventory control.
• Cook and prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff according to the Hogsalt Recipe Index, ensuring food quality and time standards are always met.
• Maintain a high level of communication with the team and keep lines of dialogue open and relevant to service.
• Answer, report to, and follow instructions from Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or other leadership.
• Properly clean and break down station at the end of service, ensuring all food handling and food storage standards are met.
• Ensure kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, leadership, vendors, and guests.
