Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen. You will prepare and cook menu items to exact specifications, receive and order products, and ensure all prep items are labeled, dated, and refrigerated properly.

Qualifications

• Previous Line Cook experience required.
• Standing or moving for long periods of time.
• General knowledge of safety & sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification.
• Receive and order product as needed.
• Label, date, cover and refrigerate prepped items.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and station setup.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to safety standards.
• Read and follow order tickets or Kitchen Display System.
• Assist with special prep and high-volume tickets.
