You will follow safety guidelines, notify the Chef of shortages, work quickly and as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals, and support the Kitchen Manager with all assigned duties, including late hours.

Qualifikationen

• High school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety.
• Prior related experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Set up stations and collect supplies to prepare menu for service.
• Prepare a variety of foods including meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and cold items.
• Arrange sauces and garnishes for allocated station.
• Store all prep items properly and date/label as needed.
• Notify Chef in advance of shortages.
• Serve menu items according to established standards.
• Use food prep tools safely and per manufacturer instructions.
• Close the kitchen correctly and follow closing checklists for stations.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area at all times.
• Keep the work area fresh throughout the shift.
• Store products properly and tidy all storage areas.
• Practice safe and hygienic food handling at all times.
• Return dirty utensils to appropriate areas.
• Assist with duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
