The Blennerhassett, a Giovanni Hotel and Spa in Parkersburg, WV, is seeking a Line Cook who takes pride in the plate. You will prep and cook to our production standards, keep your station clean and organized, and help ensure every guest receives food worth coming back for.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a restaurant or kitchen, can work days, evenings, and weekends, and collaborates well with teammates.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years in a restaurant or kitchen.
• Reliable transportation.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Clear communicator and organized.
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Check pars, prep and cook to production standards, keep station clean and organized.
• Assist with line setup, rotate and date leftovers, and manage perishables.
• Receive, unpack, date deliveries and store per standards; break down boxes.
• Help control food waste and costs; participate in monthly food audits.
• Prep and make ice cream for the Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop.
• Know the facility hours and assist guests with information as needed.
