The Blennerhassett in Parkersburg, WV is seeking a Line Cook who takes pride in the plate, keeps a clean station, and works well with a team.

You will prep and cook to production standards, rotate stock, assist with audits, and support the kitchen during busy shifts. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Candidates should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and at least two years in a kitchen; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prep food ahead as requested and set up the line.
• Date and rotate containers; keep perishables at the right temperatures.
• Flag out-of-stock items or shortages before they become a problem.
• Return unused items to storage, covered and dated.
• Help control food waste and assist with food cost issues.
• Receive and unpack deliveries, date everything, and store properly.
• Break down boxes and take trash to the dumpster.
• Prep and make ice cream for the Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop.
• Learn and follow the property's scheduling system.
• Keep supplies inventoried at par.
• Assist with monthly food audit.
