Job summary

Pei Wei Asian Diner, LLC is seeking a Back of House Team Member (Cook) to prepare high-quality food in accordance with company recipes, food safety standards, and operational procedures. This role supports kitchen operations and guest experience.

You will work with the restaurant team to ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety, following FIFO and inventory guidelines, while assisting with opening, shift, and closing responsibilities to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to approved recipes, portion standards, and presentation requirements.
• Follow established cooking procedures, production schedules, and operational guidelines.
• Accurately prepare guest orders, including modifications related to allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requests.
• Set up, operate, break down, and clean kitchen equipment according to company procedures.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and rotating inventory using FIFO practices.
• Support opening, shift, and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain organization and readiness of workstations throughout the shift.
• Communicate product shortages, maintenance concerns, or operational issues to management.
