The Press Club Grill in Margaritas is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will prepare meals according to standard recipes, ensure high-quality execution, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, assisting with setup and service, and supporting fellow cooks during peak periods. The ideal candidate has proven line cook experience and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook.
• Culinary arts training is preferred but not required.
• Good knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment.
• Familiar with industry best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and take direction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented when measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Stamina to stand long hours in a busy kitchen.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and sanitize surfaces.
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards.
• Handle, store, and rotate products properly.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Assist with setup, service, and cleanup of the kitchen.
• Provide assistance to other cooks during peak periods.
