Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group Career Center in North Las Vegas is seeking a Cook to prepare, portion, and cook menu items to Outback’s quality standards. You will focus on safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation while using proper equipment and recipe specs.

You will join a team across Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill and Make Up stations, with opportunities to contribute to a guest experience described as AUS-SOME. Training and growth are emphasized within the Outback family.

Qualifications

• Experience in food prep and sanitation preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in hot/cold environments.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move about the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion menu items to Outback quality standards.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and equipment.
• Work as a team to meet prep and delivery standards.
• Practice safe food handling and sanitation throughout the shift.
• Prepare food with proper tools and recipe specifications.
