NOLA Restaurant in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Line Cook to execute at a high level in a fast-paced kitchen. You thrive on urgency, uphold high standards, and communicate clearly to keep service smooth.

You will set up stations, maintain portion and presentation, coordinate the line, and work across FOH/BOH with management. The role offers great benefits and advancement opportunities for reliable, consistent team players.

Formación

• Previous line cook experience required.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, prep, and station organization.
• Able to work multiple stations and adapt when the kitchen needs support.
• Strong sense of urgency and awareness during service.
• Dependable and punctual; takes initiative.

Responsabilidades

• Execute menu items accurately, consistently, and efficiently.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station.
• Maintain recipe, portion, presentation, and quality standards.
• Work quickly and calmly during high-volume service.
• Help coordinate the line and keep tickets moving efficiently.
• Monitor food quality, ticket times, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.
• Communicate clearly with FOH, BOH, and management during service.
• Help direct BOH team members on task.
• Identify problems and take appropriate action before they affect service.
• Assist with opening, closing, prep, cleaning, and kitchen checklists.
• Communicate product shortages, equipment issues, staffing concerns, and other operational needs to management.
• Follow and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and NOLA kitchen standards.
