Job summary

Roost is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare fresh, high-quality meals and work with the Kitchen Manager and Back of House Captain to uphold our standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and communication are essential for coordinating with Kitchen Manager and Crew.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards.
• Physically capable of lifting 25+ pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Properly prepare, label, store, and rotate food products using FIFO procedures.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Communicate effectively with Kitchen Manager and team members.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and maintaining kitchen organization.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Support fellow team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned.
