Job summary

Locally Grown Restaurants is seeking a Line Cook for Crush Bistro in Anchorage. You will work full-time Tue-Sat, preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean workstation, and supporting the team in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Able to stand and walk for up to 9 hours in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must have a current Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items accurately according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Complete daily station setup and ensure area is stocked and ready for service.
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating guides for consistent quality.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment including knives, grills, fryers, and ovens.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift.
• Monitor food quality and ensure each plate meets our standards before serving.
• Minimize food waste and record any waste properly.
• Practice proper food storage, rotation, and FIFO procedures.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature guidelines.
• Complete end-of-shift cleaning and closing duties with teammates.
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to Kitchen Manager or Prep Supervisor.
• Assist with additional kitchen responsibilities as needed.
