Job summary

HRI Hospitality seeks a skilled line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook meals per recipes, ensure quality and freshness, and help maintain a clean, efficient workspace in a fast-paced setting.

We value food safety, teamwork, and the ability to thrive under pressure. You may participate in special events and support the Executive Chef and Kitchen Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Proficient in hot and cold food preparation techniques.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards and health codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients accurately.
• Utilize various cooking techniques (steaming, grilling, boiling, baking, frying).
• Check food and ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Arrange and garnish dishes beautifully for presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist in leading kitchen staff alongside the Executive Chef and Kitchen Supervisor.
• Contribute to special events and banquets as needed.
