Job summary

The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Line Cook to deliver high-quality dining by efficiently preparing a range of dishes for à la carte orders, buffets, banquets, and hors d'oeuvres. You will open the kitchen each morning, organize the station, and ensure consistency and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing lunch service items, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting other kitchen departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Open the kitchen and organize the station for service.
• Prepare lunch service items including sauces and soups; transition from breakfast to lunch.
• Cook orders as received from waitstaff with accuracy and quality.
• Learn and master menus, recipes, and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area per health regulations.
