Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Station experience across multiple areas (Flat Top, Grill, Broil, Fry, Pasta, Sauté, etc.).
• Familiarity with cooking techniques (roasting, grilling, sautéing, scratch cooking).
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment; understands back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and techniques.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills (chopping, dicing, slicing).
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, proper portioning, and correct temperatures.
• Wow guests with plating, presentation, and garnishing.
• Support opening/closing duties including station setup, breakdown, FIFO stocking, cleanliness.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and allergy awareness standards.
• Work well under pressure, multitask with speed and urgency.
• Support teamwork through clear communication and following instructions.
