Job summary

Scout's Pub in Franklin, TN is hiring line cooks with a positive attitude and servant's heart to join our team. The Line Cook will prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and soups, ensure proper plating and garnishes, and support overall kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• 1 year of experience in similar position preferred.
• Must have an understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Line Cook will handle cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, soups and other hot items.
• Prepare and portion food prior to cooking and ensure proper plating and garnishing.
• Assist with garnishes for all hot menu items.
