Bub City in Chicago is hiring Line Cooks to prep, produce, and present all menu items with accuracy and speed. You’ll work in a lively kitchen, follow recipes, and plate dishes to specification while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must follow prescribed recipes and portion controls.
• Available to work varied hours, including weekends.
• Safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Good communication in written and spoken directions.
• Multitask calmly under pressure.
• Stand for entire shift and move in kitchen

Responsibilities

• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Read thermometer correctly and efficiently.
• Communicate delays or issues to Coordinator.
• Maintain counts and notify when quantities fall below minimum.
• Accurately account for all items leaving station.
• Follow allergy procedures and special orders.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow policies in Employee Handbook.
• Be a team player and others as needed.
