Beatrix (River North campus) is hiring line cooks to join our busy kitchen team in Chicago. You will prepare items to order, plate with care, and help maintain high standards across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work varied hours including weekends.
• Ability to read a thermometer correctly and follow safety guidelines.
• Strong communication in written and spoken directions.

Responsabilités

• Prepare menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
• Follow portioning controls and maintain par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Communicate any delays or issues to the Coordinator/chef.
• Maintain item counts and inform staff when quantities fall below minimums.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and employment policies.
• Be a team player and support kitchen staff as needed.
