THE STRING BEAN INC in Belmont, NC is seeking a Line Cook to prepare meals using high-quality ingredients for our busy restaurant. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative, and eager to further develop their talent in a fast-paced kitchen.

If you have a passion for preparing wonderful food, we want to hear from you. You will follow safety regulations, maintain a clean kitchen, and contribute to daily opening/closing tasks while collaborating with the head chef.

Qualifications

• Previous line experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• ServSafe certification appreciated
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Follow all food safety regulations
• Maintain an organized and clean kitchen
• Create weekly specials
• Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
• Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef
