Job summary

Hypsi, the signature dining concept at the Hotel Daphne development in Houston Heights, is hiring a Line Cook to join our PM team. You will participate in cooking and seasoning menu items, maintaining health standards, and supporting inventory and kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in hospitality or food-service, strong knife skills, and a collaborative spirit to help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years related experience in hospitality or service industry.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knife skills or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods according to orders and procedures.
• Prep food items for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.
• Store and label food properly.
• Assist with inventory and kitchen supplies.
