Manthey Hospitality in Tampa, FL is seeking a dependable Line Cook for Craft Tampa, a part-time dining vessel offering brunch and dinner.

Join a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment aboard a unique vessel near Sparkman Wharf. You will prep, cook, plate, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety while collaborating with the culinary team.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook, restaurant, or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and direction from culinary leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to report to scheduled shifts on time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and maintain your assigned station before, during, and after service.
• Complete daily prep and ensure your station is properly stocked for service.
• Cook menu items accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper timing.
• Work closely with the Kitchen Manager and other culinary team members.
• Assist teammates during high-volume service to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Follow proper portioning, plating, and presentation standards.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance responsibilities.

Docked adjacent to Sparkman Wharf, Craft features an open-concept kitchen, handcrafted cocktails, and chef-driven cuisine served against the backdrop of Tampa's beautiful waterways. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook who takes pride in preparing great food and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

As a Line Cook aboard Craft, you'll work alongside our culinary team to prepare and execute our menu while maintaining the quality, consistency, and presentation our guests expect. Because our kitchen is open and visible to guests, professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail are especially important.

What You'll Be Doing

• Minimizing waste and using ingredients responsibly.
• Maintaining appropriate food temperatures and safe food-handling practices.
• Keeping your station stocked, organized, and ready for service.
• Supporting an efficient kitchen and exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Bring to the Crew

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work aboard a vessel that may be away from dock for several hours at a time.
• Ability to work safely in a tight kitchen environment around heat, cooking equipment, and other team members.
