Talk of the Town Restaurants in Tampa, FL is seeking a passionate line cook who thrives in a busy kitchen. Set up stations, prep and cook per recipes, and keep a clean, safe work area.

You will work as part of a team, handle multiple tasks, and help ensure guests receive consistently top‑quality plates. Prior prep/line cook experience is preferred; ability to stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prep or line cook experience.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Prolonged standing and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
• Restock items as needed throughout shift.
• Maintain stations with cleanliness and safety practices.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Perform additional duties as requested by Chef or Kitchen Manager.
