Qualifications

• Culinary degree or culinary training at a high-volume establishment.
• Knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure.
• Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals to order during service hours.
• Ensure each item is prepared with high quality and craftsmanship.
• Keep all stations stocked before and during service.
• Follow recipes and guidelines from culinary management.
• Demonstrate proper cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Store and access food items properly.
• Follow health department food service guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Executive Chef.
