Job summary

Bear Valley Mountain Resort Llc is seeking SkyHigh line cooks to prepare ingredients, cook items per recipes, and ensure supplies are set up for service. You will use kitchen tools, coordinate with staff, and cook on the line during service periods.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with organization, restocking, and communicating inventory needs to the kitchen manager in a fast-paced alpine environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a line cook preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a positive manner.
• Ability to work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Ability to stand long hours in changing temperatures.
• California Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up the kitchen and ensure supplies and equipment are ready for daily operations.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation according to menu specifications.
• Cook and assemble dishes on the line, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Restock ingredients and supplies to maintain efficient service.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware and store them properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, cooking areas, and equipment.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
• Communicate with the kitchen manager regarding inventory needs.
• Perform other duties to support smooth kitchen operations.
