Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of line cook experience in a similar size property.
• Ability to prioritize and organize.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items for cooking.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Fulfills guest special requests when possible.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Refer to daily prep lists at start of shift.
• Ensure prep stations are stocked.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to Executive Chef.
• Follow kitchen procedures for reporting food shortages.
• Follow recipes with proper portion sizes and quality standards.
• Stock and maintain food levels on the line.
• Portion food according to standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Follow plate presentation and garnish standards.
• Handle, label, rotate products per state laws.
• Close kitchen and assist with closing procedures.
• Attend scheduled team meetings and suggest improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.
• Be proactive with guest concerns and deliver flawless service.
