Job summary

Whiskey Cake - La Cantera is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items per recipes and timing. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure quality, safety, and timely plate presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading tickets, maintaining sanitation, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Benefits include medical insurance for eligible hourly workers, 401k after one year, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand tickets as they come through.
• Stand for long periods.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare all food products according to prescribed methods and recipes.

• Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment and utensils.
