Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group's Lucy's #7 Burger Bar in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a Line Cook to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes and memorable guest experiences.

You will work as part of a team to maintain speed, knowledge of the menu, and adherence to kitchen standards while lifting up to 50 pounds and following safety procedures. This is an on-site role with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• At least one year of kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills required; must be able to add and subtract.
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to read and write legibly for orders and notes.

Responsibilities

• Know and understand every menu item, including portions and standards.
• Work closely with Chef to ensure consistency on every plate.
• Maintain timing to ensure tickets go out promptly.
• Communicate with co-workers during prime service hours.
• Keep workstation clean and stocked; assist in closing tasks as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; follow safety practices.
