The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Line Cook to join our culinary team. This hourly, full-time role reports to the Executive Chef and focuses on preparing meals to order with precision and care across multiple stations.

Qualified candidates have culinary training, strong knife skills, knowledge of safety and sanitation, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. OMB offers robust benefits and growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or training at a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Ability to transport up to 50 pounds.
• Work calmly and under pressure.
• Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare meals to order during service hours.
• Ensure that each item is prepared with high quality care and craftsmanship.
• Keep all stations stocked before and during the meal period.
• Follow recipes and guidelines set forth by culinary management.
• Follow proper cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Ensure proper storage and accessibility of food items.
• Follow health department guidelines for food service.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the Executive Chef.
