Job description

Join to apply for the Line Cook - Conner's Kitchen + Bar role at ZMC Hotels.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Mentoring and collaborating with Senior Line Cooks, apprentices, and stewards, along with daily preparation and production of food.
  2. Utilizing company F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines.
  3. Checking the freshness of foods and ingredients, ensuring all recipes and portion-use records are followed.
  4. Monitoring guest feedback scores and working to improve rankings.
  5. Fostering a climate of cooperation and respect among coworkers.
  6. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of all cooking and preparation equipment.
  • Basic cooking skills such as sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery.
  • Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods.
