Snooze, a full-service breakfast restaurant, is hiring a Line Cook. The role demands ensuring quality dishes, understanding recipes, and maintaining sanitation. You will work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow and contribute to a friendly team.

The position requires at least 1 year in a restaurant setting; 6 months in a high-volume venue is preferred. This role is on-site and involves standing for long periods and light-to-moderate lifting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience.
• 6 months in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the US and at least 17 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes.
• Know all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and safety/sanitation info.
• Prepare a variety of items using knives and kitchen equipment.
• Prepare foods for service using ovens, stoves, grills, and broilers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and working area.
• Handle products per Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines.
