Snooze Town and Country Village in Houston, TX is hiring a Line Cook. You will prepare a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and timely service in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

The role requires at least 1 year in a restaurant, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for shifts finishing by dinnertime. Snooze offers weekly pay, health benefits after a year, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes.
• Know all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and safety information.
• Prepare a variety of items using knives, mixers, blenders, processors, scales, and bags.
• Cook foods using ovens, stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and area.
• Handle products per Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines.
