Big Bowl - Schaumburg is seeking Line Cooks to prepare, produce and present all menu items with accuracy and care in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow prescribed recipes and adapt to special requests while maintaining high quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Line Cooks are responsible for the preparation, production and presentation of all menu items.
• Follow prescribed recipes and adapt to special requests while maintaining quality.
• Must work a variety of hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Read a thermometer correctly and efficiently.
• Communicate any delays or issues to Coordinator.
• Maintain menu item counts and notify staff when quantities fall below minimums.
• Accurately account for all items leaving the station.
• Follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines and employment policies.
• Be a team player and support others in the kitchen.
