Hyatt Hotels Corporation, at The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific in North County San Diego, is seeking a full-time Cook. This person may be level 1–4 and will work under supervision to produce a consistent product for guests in a timely manner.

The position offers $21.00/hour to $24.00/hour, with decisions on pay based on experience and education. A comprehensive benefits package is included for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• 1+ years of previous line experience preferred.
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
• Able to work single station in the kitchen.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of temperature and sanitation guidelines.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items to meet guests' needs in a timely manner.
• Take direction from Supervisors to produce a consistent product.

• Stand for long periods while cooking.
