Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. (JEI) is seeking a Line Cook—Hanna’s Table for the J Resort in Reno. The role involves managing all station functions, preparing, finishing, and garnishing menu items, and maintaining stock to meet daily production.

You will follow standards for preparation, quality and presentation, handle meat, poultry and fish portions, and uphold sanitary procedures. Prior kitchen experience and working in a food preparation setting are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in a food preparation and cooking environment.
• Identification that establishes identity.
• Identification that establishes right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Handle all station functions of the assigned kitchen.
• Prepare, finish, and garnish all menu items for the assigned kitchen.
• Maintain proper supplies to meet daily production needs.
• Ensure preparation, quality, and presentation meet standards and procedures.
