Job summary

Omni Dallas Hotel's Texas Spice is seeking a line cook to join its top-ranked Food & Beverage team. You will prepare hot and cold dishes, work at a designated station, and support kitchen operations with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean stations, handling current and future requisitions, and communicating menu changes between shifts. Flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of culinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen prep, knife skills, sanitation and safety.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing a variety of food items (hot and cold) for Texas Spice in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks.
• Operating at least one station within the kitchen (Saute, Grill, Garde Manger, others as assigned)
• Maintaining cleanliness of all stations and surrounding culinary areas
• Organizing and preparing both current and future requisitions
• Communicating menu and dietary changes between shifts
