J.C. Newman Cigar Co. in Tampa’s historic Ybor City is seeking a Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations across our new El Reloj district hospitality concepts. You will join a growing culinary team delivering exceptional dining experiences in a landmark setting.

You should bring 1+ year line cook experience, a passion for cooking and teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality and safety. Culinary school or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year line cook in a professional kitchen or full-service restaurant.
• Scratch cooking and French cuisine experience is a plus.
• Food handling and safety knowledge; ability to follow recipes and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Set up and stock assigned stations before service.
• Prepare ingredients, chop vegetables, sauces, and portion proteins.
• Cook and execute menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent dishes.
• Follow directions from the Executive/Sous Chef and leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations; store and rotate food properly.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, inventory, and back-of-house tasks.
