Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group in Austin, TX is hiring kitchen team members to prepare and cook menu items to quality and presentation standards. You will set up and stock stations, follow food safety standards, and work with others to ensure timely service.

No prior professional kitchen experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided. Excellent communication and the ability to read and follow instructions are valued, and candidates should be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the workday.
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and are committed to maintaining our food safety and sanitation standards.

About the Job:

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards, ensuring consistency in every dish served.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift, ensuring all items are readily available for efficient cooking.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food.
• Assist in inventory management, including rotating stock and notifying management of any low inventory items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are sanitary and ready for use at all times.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
