Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare and cook menu items to quality and presentation standards. You will set up and stock stations, maintain cleanliness, and assist with inventory while following all food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required, training provided.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions effectively.
• Fast-paced environment tolerance; physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food.
• Assist in inventory management, rotating stock, and notifying management of low items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.

About You:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required, as we offer a comprehensive training program.
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions effectively.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the workday.
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and are committed to maintaining our food safety and sanitation standards.
