Amangiri is seeking a skilled Line Cook 1 to join its culinary team in a full-time role. You will prepare and present high-level dishes, maintain a clean, organized kitchen, and collaborate with chefs to deliver exceptional cuisine to guests and staff, while adhering to safety and presentation standards.

The role requires a culinary degree or equivalent experience, flexibility for weekends/nights/holidays, and a Food Safety Certification, with strong organization and teamwork skills expected in

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with poise and precision.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate your assigned kitchen station with precision and consistency.
• Execute prep tasks and food production as directed by the Sous Chef.
• Ensure mise en place is complete and up to quality standards.
• Use proper recipes and presentation techniques to uphold culinary excellence.
• Communicate effectively with the Culinary leadership team about needs or issues.
• Accommodate guest dietary or special requests with attention to detail.
• Label, date, and store all food products properly at the end of shift.
• Keep your station and the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
