Job summary

Menno Haven in Chambersburg, PA is looking for a Line Cook to prepare nutritious meals and maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and safety. You will set up, stock, and cook, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation throughout the kitchen.

The role is full-time, non-exempt with a shift from 11am to 7pm. Applicants should have at least 1 year of line cook experience and a high school diploma or GED; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum one year line cook or similar experience in dining services required.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• General understanding of nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with a team and independently.

Full-Time / Non-exempt / Pay based on experience

The Line Cook will provide nutritious meals by maintaining a high standard of quality in addition to having the skill and knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and nutrition and food safety regulations. The Line Cook is responsible for setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies, preparing and cooking food, in addition to maintaining cleanliness with proper sanitation and food handling in mind.

Qualifications:
