Saint Joseph's College of Maine is seeking a Line Cook for Pearson's Café. You will join a team dedicated to high-quality, well-sourced meals in a campus setting, upholding safety and sanitation standards.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ServSafe certification within 120 days, and at least two years of culinary experience. The role requires evening and weekend availability and a collaborative, positive attitude.
The goal of Food Services is to model a sense of campus community through interactions between our chefs, food operations staff, and student employees that are both collaborative and cooperative. Our shared focus is to nourish the body and soul of our students through the food we serve.
The Line Cook supports Pearson's Café by assisting with the Pearson's Cafe Food Program; maintaining a safe and clean work environment; and ensuring safety and sanitation.
This is a full-time staff position with estimated regular hours of 40 per week. Must be available for evening and weekend work.
