Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner, James Beard Award-winning chef, Stephanie Izard, are currently seeking Line Cooks to join the team of Girl & the Goat, located in the heart of Restaurant Row in the West Loop!

About Girl & The Goat

Chef Izard’s culinary home after her Top Chef Season 4 win, Girl & The Goat is one of the first establishments to open in the Randolph Restaurant Corridor. The 122-seat restaurant offers a family-style menu with bold flavors and global influences, featuring meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, along with a selection of wines from around the world. The lively setting makes guests feel at home from the moment they walk in.

Line Cook Responsibilities

• Cooking dishes following recipes
• Maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Opening or closing the kitchen
• Upholding the standards of Stephanie Izard and Boka Restaurant Group

Qualifications

• Hardworking

• Food handlers' certification
• Flexible schedule

This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment. We seek dedicated, enthusiastic individuals with a positive attitude who are passionate about their craft.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs if necessary
• Safe and effective use of all tools and equipment
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire 8-hour shift, moving safely throughout the restaurant
