Education

Minimum 6 months restaurant kitchen prep experience
Minimum 1 year restaurant kitchen cooking and/or prep experience
ServSafe Food Handler certification
ServeSafe Manager Certification

Job description

We are looking for motivated individuals with great attitudes to be a part of our team!

NOW HIRING:

Line Cooks – for fast-paced kitchen

Pay: $15-$18/hour depending on experience

Full Time & Part Time

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  2. Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  3. Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
  4. Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
  5. Occasionally serve/run food
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  7. Handle and store ingredients and food
  8. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  9. Ensure stations are prepped, stocked and ready for service
  10. Turn over clean and restocked station for next shift
  11. Standard cleaning of equipment, dishes and facilities
  12. Being a team player and helping others
Skills:
  1. Prep and cook in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen
  2. Works well independently and with a team
  3. Familiar with kitchen sanitation measures and safety regulations
  4. Knows how to cook on and operate flat tops, burners, ovens, and fryers
  5. Multi-tasking

Qualifications:

  3. Reliable transportation (required)
  4. ServSafe Food Handler or willing to get it (required)
  5. ServeSafe Manager Certification or willing to get it (desired)
