Job summary

ARK Hospitality's Cambria hotel in the United States is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality menu items for breakfast, dinner, rooftop lounge, banquets, and events. You will follow standardized recipes, uphold food safety, and work with a professional team to ensure consistent quality and speed.

This role requires flexibility, strong teamwork, and adherence to HACCP and sanitation standards, with ServSafe preferred.

Qualifications

  • Culinary experience in hotels or restaurants preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock assigned stations before each shift.
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and proper portion control.
  • Follow HACCP, FIFO, temperature logging, labeling, and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams during service.
  • Support breakfast, dinner, rooftop, banquet, and catering operations.
  • Monitor food quality and immediately report shortages or quality concerns.
  • Minimize waste through proper handling and portion control.
  • Receive deliveries and organize kitchen storage when needed.
  • Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning checklists.
  • Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.
  • Follow ARK Hospitality standards, Cambria brand standards, and local health regulations.
  • Participate in training and cross-training opportunities.

This position supports breakfast, dinner, the restaurant, rooftop lounge, bar, banquets, and special events. Guest Service Expectations Prepare every dish with pride and attention to detail. Maintain urgency without sacrificing quality. Support teammates during busy service periods. Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork. Help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

Compensation: $16 - $19 hourly
