Job summary

Snooze Tucson and Grant is seeking a Line Cook to prepare high-quality breakfast dishes with care and craftsmanship. You will be responsible for quality, safety, and timely plating, while maintaining organized, clean stations and following Snooze guidelines.

The role requires knowledge of menu items, safe food handling, and the ability to work with ovens, stoves, and mixers. Strong communication and physical stamina are essential for a productive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant industry.
• 6 months experience in high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Must communicate clearly with management staff.
• Must be 17 years of age or older and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes.
• Know menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and safety information.
• Prepare a variety of foods using knives, mixers, processors, scales, and bags.
• Prepare foods for service using ovens, stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Handle products according to Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines.

The Position Specifics

The Snooze Line Cook ensures that each Snooze food item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. The best pancakes in all the land are in the hands of our Line Cooks. The responsibilities of this position include:

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines

• fun, energetic, eager and a committed team member.
• experienced. A minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• fast paced. A minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• able to communicate clearly with management staff.
• able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
