Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Line Cook to support the Nutritional Service Department by preparing and cooking hot foods in a clean, safe environment. The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines and delivering excellent service to patients and staff.

Under supervision of the FANS Management team, you will handle hot production tasks, maintain quality recipes, and contribute to a positive, fast-paced hospital kitchen. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent, preferred
• One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
• Must be able to speak, write, and read in English

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Line Cook works under the direction of the FANS Management team to ensure that all work is performed utilizing all safety and sanitation guidelines. Performs routine daily tasks related to hot production needs of the Nutritional Service Department. The position will prepare and cook all hot food and related items ensuring a clean and sanitized work area in accord with recipe requirements. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

• High School Diploma or its equivalent, preferred
• One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
• Must be able to speak, write, and read in English
