Job Title: Line Cook at Black Walnut Cafe

This position reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and involves various back-of-house responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and managing safety and security.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in guest needs and ensure timely order production
2. Set up and reset stations for shifts
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
4. Manage product quality and check for standards
5. Complete daily checklists and par sheets accurately
6. Control shrinkage and security measures
7. Report issues and malfunctioning equipment to management
8. Uphold high personal standards and sanitation
9. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for 6-10 hours
10. Handle conflicts and demonstrate good people skills
11. Organize tasks efficiently and communicate effectively
12. Work well under stress and with a sense of urgency
