Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our team at Dog & Duck of Summerville! The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, attentive to detail, able to multitask, and a team player.

We are offering full-time positions for dinner shifts, with Sunday and Saturday availability strongly preferred. Candidates are encouraged to apply in person Monday-Thursday between 2 pm and 4 pm or to fill out an application online via our website.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals using fresh ingredients to ensure an excellent dining experience for our customers. We seek creative, experienced candidates committed to culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment.
  2. Prepare and present food appealingly.
  3. Supervise and delegate tasks to team members.
  4. Maintain inventory levels and restock as needed.
  5. Follow all food safety regulations.
  6. Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the head chef or management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes.
  • Ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
