Job summary

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is seeking a Kitchen Production teammate to join our Production Crew. You will prepare and plate menu items according to recipes and specs, maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness, and help ensure fast, accurate service for guests.

The role involves versatility across stations (dish, prep, fry, salad, grill, pizza), stocking, deep-cleaning tasks, and coordinating with teammates. Must lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in high volume restaurant environment.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week).
• Knowledge of allergy and cross-contamination protocols.
• Commitment to food safety standards and hygiene practices.

POSITION SUMMARY The Alamo Production Crew, which includes our entire kitchen team, is the heartbeat of our theater. As a teammate on the Alamo Production Team, core responsibilities include the preparation of food in accordance with our recipes, while maintaining Alamo Drafthouse standards of service and presentation, including prompt delivery. A successful production crew will ensure that everything is in order – from daily station set-up and prep, to upholding the highest health and safety kitchen standards. Our Production crew understands the importance of teamwork. They put their best foot forward every day, understanding their role within the greater team to give our guests an awesome culinary experience. Core Role Responsibilities

• Prepares and plates Alamo menu items in according to our recipes and specs
• Trained and available to work different stations as assigned, including dish, prep, fry, salad, grill, pizza, etc.
• Responsible for cleaning, organization, and general maintenance of all equipment and dishwashing areas as assigned, including but not limited to recurring deep cleanings tasks and daily sidework checklists
• Prepares guest food orders based on approved operational processes; focusing on safety, quality, accuracy and efficiency
• Restocks supplies as needed, completes prep and side work, and assists with any additional operational tasks required for efficient service
• Supports the delivery and organization of food and beverage orders as needed
• Upholds standards of behavior as defined by the company's Core Values and Operational Guidelines

• Must possess extensive knowledge of and exercise exceptional attention to allergy and cross-contamination protocols
• Utilizes proper equipment for ALL food preparation (i.e., measuring cups/spoons, scales, and any other tool required by Alamo operation protocols)
• Adheres to standard kitchen cleaning, prep and stocking schedules used to control food waste, production and maintain food quality
• Communicates kitchen needs, concerns, and other urgent matters with necessary teammates and managers regularly

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment Requirements

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, at least one day being a weekend)
• Ability to move with caution and operate in a busy/sometimes loud environment
• Stays up-to-date on all local food compliance regulations, , safety courses, and assigned online trainings
