Job summary

Flatstick Pub - Spokane is seeking a Line Cook to support daily operations and prepare menu items with care at our Spokane location. The role requires a passion for great food, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

You will be responsible for cooking, line maintenance, and contributing to a welcoming guest experience, with opportunities for advancement. Health benefits and PTO considerations apply after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Card required.
• Ability to communicate with guests and coworkers in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Strong understanding of basic cooking methods.

Reports To: General Manager - Spokane

Compensation

$17.13/hour plus tips (On average, an additional $10-12/hour in tips earned)

is looking to hire a Line Cook to help with its day-to-day operations and perform the duties listed below:

Specific Duties & Responsibilities as Line Cook

• Be motivated and driven to create great food and make people happy
• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a warm and welcoming manner
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of basic cooking methods
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Be able to work efficiently and effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Possess a valid Food Handlers Card
• Responsible for daily tasks and side work
• Employees are occasionally asked to climb, balance, kneel, or crouch
• Employees are occasionally asked to help lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
• Other duties as assigned.

About Flatstick

There are only two rules at Flatstick Pub: drink local and have fun. We’re mixing up the scene by combining local beers with an indoor 9-hole mini golf course and other fun games. Our 30+ rotating taps feature local beers, ciders, and wines.

Work Environment

This in-person position is located at the Spokane location (618 W Main Ave Spokane WA 99201). Hours per week vary based upon the following: tenure, events, time of year, manager discretion.
