At SSP America, our Line Cooks play a vital role in our team by receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, and properly setting up the kitchen to ensure every Expert has the product and tools they need during their shift. Our Line Cooks enjoy working in the Back of House environment.

As a Line Cook at SSP, you can expect to:

• Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present dishes
• Ensure proper setup of the kitchen/station daily
• Requisition and stock all necessary food, paper products, and condiments
• Store and rotate products properly
• Maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment
• Manage stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to ensure quality
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists
• Ensure the quality of served products
• Perform cleaning tasks as assigned to adhere to health standards
• Perform other duties as needed
